By simply putting the CreditorWatch logo on their invoice, Bells Beach Brewing saw a huge uplift in the speed their invoices were getting paid and reduced their overdues from $90k to $60k in the space of a month.
Founders Jono Mostrop and Adam Smith were inspired by the stunning landscape of Victoria’s Bells Beach and the Surfcoast but uninspired by the beer they found there. In their previous jobs they engineered some of the world’s finest cars – in places such as the UK, the US and Bavaria – locations that also provided a wealth of beer drinking experience.
Bells Beach Brewing was founded on the belief that they could combine the engineering approach from billion-dollar car development programs with their well-honed taste buds to produce quality beer that could rival any in the world.
After three years of up-skilling and experimentation they brought their first beer, Southside Saison, to market in 2015 which subsequently won a silver medal at the Australian Craft Beer Awards.
The collections of their invoices were slower than they would’ve liked. They had few write offs but the average speed of their incoming payments was negatively impacting their cash flow.
By simply putting the CreditorWatch logo on their invoice, they saw a huge uplift in the speed their invoices were getting paid and reduced their overdues from $90k to $60k in the space of a month.
“We’ve seen a big improvement in our outstanding invoice balance. We’ve been active putting the CreditorWatch logo on our invoices for about a month now and our outstanding balance of late payments has gone from more than $90k to around $60k. An awesome way to start.”
