Did you know that over 116,000 people are experiencing homelessness in Australia?
28,191 of these people are in New South Wales. Unfortunately, a severe lack of social and affordable housing, coupled with a wide range of complicated social issues makes homelessness a difficult problem to tackle.
Fortunately, there are ways to be a part of the solution. On the 20th of June 2019, I will be spending the longest and coldest night of the year sleeping out on the streets with hundreds of other CEOs, business owners, community and government leaders. My participation in the Vinnies CEO Sleepout will help to support the many Australians who are experiencing homelessness.
Last year, the CEO Sleepout raised $6.9 million for people experiencing homelessness. We are all striving for a bigger impact this year!

I truly believe in this cause. Life can change in an instant for better or worse. When times are tough, nobody should have to wander the streets all night because they have nowhere to sleep. No one should have to sleep in their car or on the pavement. We are all human and everyone deserves the right to basic needs.
