Tell us about your role as Principal Solutions Architect – what do you do at CreditorWatch?

With over 15 years of experience in the IT industry, I specialise in the banking and FinTech sectors, focusing on implementation, pre-sales, and consultation roles across regions like Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and APAC. My expertise encompasses a deep understanding of both technical aspects and strategic vision. This knowledge can benefit organisations by facilitating integrations and delivery processes, unlocking innovative growth opportunities that enhance customer satisfaction while optimising operations and security.

Why did you choose the career you now have?

I have always been fascinated by technology and its ability to solve complex problems while creating innovative solutions. This fascination led me to pursue a Bachelor of Computer Science & Management Technology, equipping me with the skills and knowledge needed to embark on my professional journey. Throughout my career, I’ve been involved in the digital banking transformation, working with start-ups in the fintech sector to established tier one banks. This involvement includes the replacement of outdated legacy banking systems with modern, cloud-based platforms that bring numerous benefits. Through these experiences, I have had the opportunity to continually learn new technologies, contributing to the enhancement of customer satisfaction and the optimisation of banking operations and security.

What motivates you professionally?

While I am inspired by solving complex problems, eager to learn new skill and explore new challenges, I am driven and motivated by the impact my work has on businesses outcomes and customer satisfaction. 

To enable these outcomes, I enjoy working with different technologies and collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders, understanding their needs, and translating them into technical specifications and architecture.

What excites you about CreditorWatch’s Integrations?  

As Principal Solutions Architect, I am excited to work on integrations, particularly within CreditorWatch’s enterprise team. This opportunity allows me to leverage my skills and experience in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and reliable solutions that meet the business needs and goals of our clients. Integrations are challenging yet rewarding projects that demand collaboration, creativity, and innovation. I enjoy working with a broad range of technologies, platforms, and systems, finding the best ways to connect them and optimise their performance.
