Meet the Crew – Mandy Mill, Head of Operations and Finance and Dan Mawdsley, Head of Product

Meet Mandy Mill - Head of Operations and Finance (SYD)
  1. What do you do at CreditorWatch and why do you love it? Head of Operations – I love it as there is never a dull moment. I am learning each and every day.
  2. What does your average workday look like? This is hard to pinpoint as I have a lot of enquiries etc from Sales Staff and the Staff in general. No two days are the same which I love.
  3. What makes CreditorWatch special to you? I have been here since the company began so it is very close to my heart. I have watched it grow from five employees to over 100 Australia wide.
  4. What’s the biggest career lesson you’ve learnt so far? To keep an open mind and treat everyone in the business with respect.
  5. What was your first job?  I worked for the State Bank of Victoria.
  6. What are you most passionate about?  My family is my number one!
  7. Who or what is your biggest inspiration? Again, my family inspire me to be the best I can be in everything I do.
  8. If you could do another job for just one day, what would you do? A florist, I have already completed the course so maybe one day!
  9. What was your favourite part of 2021? 2022 ? Everything – I love and appreciate every day!! Biggest highlight to come though is that I am going to become a grandma in November 22.
  10. If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would you go? What would you want to see? – Somewhere warm, Fiji would be great!
Meet Dan Mawdsley - Head of Product (SYD)
  1. What do you do at CreditorWatch and why do you love it? I help design, drive, and build the product vision taking it from dreams to reality. 
  2. What does your average workday look like? Mostly alignment discussions, ensuring everyone’s on track, unblocking people and helping guide and mentor designers and product managers. 
  3. What makes CreditorWatch special to you? The people. 
  4. What’s the biggest career lesson you’ve learnt so far? Time management and prioritisation. 
  5. What was your first job? Working as a digital designer for a catalogue company. We would create the tackiest campaign you could ever imagine. I was happy to see the end of those days.
  6. What are you most passionate about? Keeping active both for my body and my mind.
  7. Who or what is your biggest inspiration? Ikigai – a Japanese concept that gives a person a sense of purpose and reason for living.
  8. If you could do another job for just one day, what would you do? Be a barista in a local coffee shop, being able to chat to people, make some coffee and then go home with RSI. 
  9. What was your favourite part of 2021? Spending a few days down south in Bowral. 
  10. If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would you go? What would you want to see? Botswana for a Safari, what could go wrong?
